In the name of objectivity, the judging committee consisted of two regional experts and one local expert. MÁS y Mambo is proud to say that Instructor Shanelle Marie was asked to be the local expert.

The Tri-State Salsa Open Championship is the largest salsa competition in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky and the winner qualifies for the Chicago-Midwest Salsa Open, which will be held in Chicago at the Chicago Salsa Congress in February 2010.
